From a resolution to a new institution

The Punjab Association’s 2026 presidential record traces the college project to an Executive Committee resolution on 14 December 2023. A foundation ceremony followed on 25 January 2025 at Seven Wells Street, St. Thomas Mount. The record reports completion of the college with academic and non-academic facilities for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Five programmes at the beginning

The opening course portfolio comprises B.A. English, B.Com. General, B.Com. Accounting & Finance, B.Sc. Psychology and BBA. The college’s official website independently lists these five programmes and its St. Thomas Mount address.

Approval and the June gathering

The supplied record cites Tamil Nadu G.O. Ms. No. 62, Higher Education (E) Department, dated 27 February 2026, as approval to start the self-financing college. A Havan programme took place on 26 June 2026. These are separate milestones: the ceremony date is not presented as the date of government approval or the first day of classes.

An institutional effort

The presidential account credits the Executive Committee’s support. The project belongs to the Punjab Association’s educational work; the college’s name should not be taken to imply that Vikram Aggarwal alone financed or delivered it.
